NZ Law Society Changes Library Service for Lawyers

THe NZ Law Society announces that Library resources are becoming more accessible for lawyers in the wake of a series of changes.

Following agreements with two legal publishers, case law and commentary are being made available online via computers in courthouse lawyers’ rooms in a development being rolled out around the country.

The library service recently concluded information supply agreements with CCH New Zealand and Thomson Reuters that will see an existing service extended to far more centres, making it truly national in scope.

This service was already available in the Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury courts when this edition of LawTalk went to print. Lawyers’ rooms in other areas with a computer can expect the service very soon.
